HANAMI at Sumida Park
The best place to cherry blossom viewing is here Sumida Park. You can enjoy cherry blossom with TokyoSkytree. Cherry trees at Sumida Park were planted by Yoshimune Tokugawa, the eighth great shogun of Edo period in 1720. There are 640 cherry trees across Sumida River.
This park is placed both side of Sumida River, so it’s separated East side and West side.

HANAMI at Ueno Park
Ueno Park is located near the famous zoo, Ueno Zoo. There are 1200 cherry trees planted in the park. This park is also known as cherry blossom viewing at night. When the night has come, 1100 lanterns light the trees. It’s so beautiful as much as I lose my word!

HANAMI at Chidoriga Fuchi
Chidoriga Fuchi is located near Tokyo Imperial Palace. I could say it is part of the palace because it’s connected. There are 170 cherry trees planted. This park is also known as cherry blossom viewing at night. You can see lighted up cherry trees at night.

HANAMI at Yasukuni Shrine
Yasukuni Shrine is located near Chidoriga Fuchi. This shrine is very popular place for cherry blossom viewing. There are a lot of food booths, so I often stay this shrine all day.
